More About Zion...

Okay, Uncle Jim said my last post about Zion was like those instruction sheets that come with IKEA products: drawings but no words. Soooo..... in July, we stayed at a bed and breakfast called Zion Canyon for 2 nights, it was wonderful! Eric and I took a hike up to Angels Landing, the most gruling and scary of all the hikes up there. At the highest points, we had to hang on to chains that are cemented into the mountain in order to make it to the top. The pictures don't do it justice...how high it was or how beautiful it was! The entire trip took us about 6 hours. Eric was a little sick about doing it at first, just because it is kind of scary, but he was a serious trooper. He hated how much of a dare devil I was being...I love heights!

Thank you very much. That's more like it! Funny how the trees in the two "climbing up the steep rock on hands and knees" photos seem to be leaning at 45 degree angles.

I'll post some of mine soon.
